Ikea IVAR corner piece: How do I attach the corner piece?

Hello,

after having an Ivar shelf for quite a while, I now want to put one together with a corner piece.

Unfortunately, I do not understand how to attach the corner piece correctly. Two plastic tubes with three bolts each were included. I can attach the bolts to the side parts as usual, but unfortunately I cannot just clip them in like with the straight shelves.

What am I doing wrong here?

The question remains: Despite the corner posts, I cannot explain how to attach the corner piece because clipping it in somehow doesn't work ;-(
