Hello,
I bought the Hemnes wardrobe over the weekend and almost completely assembled it. There is quite a problem with the rod that is connected to the lock. Just like in the instructions, I wanted to mount it. Set the lock to R, screwed it on the right way, and then at the end, I tried to install the rods with the correct hooks on the ends. Down below, I could only push the rod with a lot of force far enough so that the lowest rod holder could just barely be attached. The rod is therefore under a lot of tension, which you can strongly feel when trying to open and close it, because then the lock is very stiff. At the top, this rod did not go down far enough to attach the rod holder.
It is not the lock's fault, because I pushed the rods in as far as they would go. There are only about 5mm deep holes for the rods at the top and bottom. I also took into account that the rods are flat on one side. It seems that the rods are simply too long.
Does anyone have the same problems and/or happen to know a solution?
