Hi,

So far, the kitchen assembly has gone absolutely smoothly, but now I am a bit puzzled:

I have installed a Faktum tall cabinet for the oven and microwave. Below that, two drawers are planned.

Now, this cabinet’s back panel is recessed about 5 cm inward, causing the drawer slides to hit the back of the cabinet and the drawers themselves remain open about 5 mm and do not fully close.

Did I do something wrong? I have double-checked the serial numbers of the drawers used with the packing list from the link above, and they seem to be correct.

Thanks
Cipher

Absolutely do not remove the back panel... Otherwise the cabinet will lose stability and may tip over.

5 mm??? I think the problem lies elsewhere. Take the drawer out for a moment. And check the rail. There is a kind of tilt lever on the rail itself near the end that lets the drawer close slowly. If the lever is already at the back, it is not adjusted properly. Then...

Pull out the rail
Push the lever forward until it tilts forward.
Push the rail in and the lever will automatically move back and possibly be slowed down by the damper.

Hello people! I bought the Ikea kitchen and while assembling I run from one problem to the next! So: with the FA 705 oven cabinet my drawer rails are also too long and the manual does not say how I could mount them differently. Furthermore, I received a short and a long drawer from the furniture store is that correct? thanks best regards Hptoni

FA 705 has no drawers at all. If you click on "Article number, packaging dimensions & weight" under product information on the website, you can see everything that should be included. However, it is also possible that something was put together individually because it suits you better. Please note that on the tall cabinet for built-in appliances, the back panel at the bottom is omitted if drawers are to be installed. You have to look very closely at the pictures in the assembly instructions. Often, it comes down to small details.

Hi!
sorry it was the 750er!
so leave out the back panels and then not install them at all, did I understand that correctly? and I also install the dampers towards the back afterwards, right?

thx

Yes, only install the back panel above the devices. I don’t understand the question about the dampers. Which dampers? How out the back? Or are the drawers from Austria / Italy / Switzerland / France / Poland / Czech Republic..?
