Hello dear people! I am very happy to have found this forum!

I have a problem, namely I have a Metod kitchen from 2017 with the old dark grey Ringhult fronts, which no longer exist. Now I want to halve a 40 cm wide base cabinet door and make it into 2 drawer fronts because I need a drawer cabinet. How do I now attach the door pieces to the drawers? Is there a drilling template for the fronts?

Thank you all very much in advance!

Best regards Tusnelda

Try to get ready-made drawer fronts via ebay or classified ads.

You want to make two fronts for drawers in 20x60 from a 40x60 door?

You can make a drilling template yourself from the cheapest 20 front: simply clamp them flush together and drill through.

Where do you live? I should still have some fronts lying around.

Use the thinnest saw blade you can find...

You can easily find several used offers on the usual marketplaces.

And the cut side facing down. I don't have a picture in my mind right now, but is the original front also cut at a right angle? If not, it probably won't look very good. Better to buy used.
