Ikea Domsjö Single Basin - Worktop

Hello everyone. We have obtained the domsjö single bowl and now the question is which countertop thickness we should choose. We decided on multiplex, which unfortunately is only available in 3.5 cm (3.7 cm with the Resopal coating) or 4 cm (4.2 cm with Resopal). It was always said that you absolutely need at least 3.8 cm countertop thickness for the sink… What speaks against 3.5 cm (respectively 3.7 cm)…? The sink sits on the countertop anyway. I can imagine that at most there could be problems with the two clamps under the sink that “fasten” it to the cabinet…!? Otherwise, would 1 mm too little be seriously problematic? Hello, I don't really know, but I think that the 38 mm only comes from the fact that this measurement is the usual thickness of countertops and 1 mm does not make a difference.
