Hello,
I am at my wit's end. I bought half-height doors (BESTA VARA) or drawers for the Besta shelf. For the shelf board, which is supposed to be flush with the door or drawer at the top, there are other brackets so that the shelf board is positioned further forward. Unfortunately, the shelf board does not fit in because this bracket protrudes about half a millimeter out of the holes. I hope you know what I mean. Ikea must have had some reason for this ;) . How do I get this *** shelf board in there? Am I missing something? In my opinion, there is a design flaw. Even with force, I haven't been able to get it in so far, and even if I did, there would be a small gap left on the left and right of the shelf board. The brackets can't go further into the holes either.
Regards,
Oli
