Hello forum,
I bought a Besta shelf today. One section has a door, the middle part of the shelf is open, and there are drawers at the bottom. However, I now see at two spots in the back a gap about 2 cm wide, because the shelves are apparently 2 cm shorter than the (inside) depth of the cabinet. On the internet, I found information about separately available longer shelves that can compensate for the gap (for doors/drawers). However, on Ikea.de I can’t find anything (it should be 56x38, white), neither for other shelving systems. Have they seriously discontinued these? It can’t be that they only sell too short shelves now and every buyer has to live with a wide gap in the cabinet? Did I overlook something, or does anyone have a solution?
