Hello everyone,
I am quite new to Ikea and also new to this forum.
I want to buy the Besta shelf in 60*40*128 and the BESTA VARA door in 60*38 to cover the lower area. However, I have noticed that the BESTA shelves are "too short," meaning they do not align flush with the front of the carcass. I know there are extra holders with the door to bring the shelf further forward—but doesn’t that leave a gap at the back? Or is there some kind of cover panel for that? I wouldn’t like that gap at all, plus everything would just get dusty inside.
Furthermore, I would like to know if the shelf then has the correct height to align flush with the door at the top—or can I only install it either too low or too high?
I would be very grateful for your experiences and advice
