Ideas for brightening up a room

Hello Ikea fans, I have just renovated my dining room and am now in the process of buying some new furniture and decorations for it. Three walls are white, on one I had a decorative wallpaper applied (the dark purple, "vintage style"), it looks great, but somehow it makes the room quite dark. I am now thinking about how to balance the whole thing a bit with bright "accents," maybe someone has ideas...So there is already a small dresser (not from Ikea), a cream-colored rug, and Henriksdal chairs. Since I still have an Ikea voucher, I want to buy the table, sideboard/dresser/cabinet, and decorations preferably there as well. I like this new Kejsakrona table, do you think it can be combined with Hemnes furniture, or does that not match? And what would you recommend as wall decoration for the wallpapered wall? Are there maybe also nice purple decorations at Ikea, so that the wall color can also be reflected, for example, on the white walls or elsewhere in the room? Looking forward to suggestions :)

I think white goes very well with purple (or did I eat too much Milka before?) and would accordingly choose the furniture. On the wall, I would put matching pictures, probably with a white frame. A suitable wood tone for me would be, for example, birch.

Hello IKEA expert, I also thought that white matches the dark purple best.. By the way, I also like to eat Milka :) I also find birch wood quite nice, but I’m not a big fan of fake wood.. so I would prefer something solid... did you have a specific IKEA piece of furniture in mind for birch? Regards
