Hello everyone :)

We are a family of three in the Regensburg district and we are currently in the planning phase of our house.
We are not yet sure if there are any optimizations for the bathroom planning.

We would be very grateful for suggestions/improvement proposals :)
North is at the top :)

Thank you :)

I would be missing the space for a wall cabinet to store towels, etc. Maybe swap the sink with the toilet so that you don’t need that stub wall. And still have a protected direct view. Additionally, change the door opening direction, and it would be nice to have space for a cabinet.

I like semi-high little mice and would definitely not swap the WC and washbasin. I don't have a suggestion right now, but somehow you have a lot of walking space that can't be used otherwise. I wouldn't install an extra bidet but would rather leave space for a small cabinet.

Is the rest fixed? Windows? Do they have to be that big? Definitely no space for a closet. Make the door narrower. Who needs a 90 cm door into the bathroom? Depending on what can/may be changed, a lot can still be optimized…

I would also swap the sink position with the toilet/bidet and save the little wall. It's not about the little wall for me, but because I always find it awkward to have to walk a long way to the sink first. The sink is used regularly "in between," so in my view, it is much more practical to have the sink near the door.

It also feels more open/friendlier when entering, rather than looking directly at a stub wall. With the position change, there would also be enough space for proper furniture solutions.

Edit: If the door is also shifted slightly towards the shower, there would be additional space behind it to have, for example, some towel holders (or if needed, a towel radiator or similar)...

I would leave out the bidet and instead buy a shower toilet. We have one too, it's great :) It might even have more functions, depending on which one you buy. Then you would have some space there for, for example, a tall cabinet or a towel radiator. Neither would hurt. Otherwise, I actually find the plan quite nice, I would like it too.
