Good morning,
we want to move in next month and I wanted to ask what humidity level you had when moving in, or what is recommended.
( massiv Bau )

The painter just finished.

Currently, I have 65% but I will run dehumidifiers for another 4 weeks.

I don't want to go below 50%.
I am used to 30% humidity from a timber frame house
...I woke up every morning with a dry mouth for 6 years.

Well, you only stay above 50% (in winter) if you consistently do not ventilate... but then it is also uncomfortable. With proper ventilation behavior, this is only possible with a humidifier.

In 4 weeks it will surely be quite warm, so you will already be at 50%, more in summer, since you probably do not have controlled residential ventilation. Or you leave the windows open at night.

Had about 65% residual moisture at move-in in July. Through controlled residential ventilation, airing, and depending on the weather, additionally with a simple air dehumidifier, we kept it below 60%.

Before winter, we were at 55% and now after the first winter at 50%.

The controlled residential ventilation has moisture recovery.

65% I find absolutely OK. Between 50 and 60 is optimal, over 70% is bad again. I wouldn't get any dehumidifiers for that now... Just move in and then ventilate normally.
