Hello everyone,
I am currently in the process of redesigning our bathroom and have several offers related to this.
Actually, everything is settled so far, but I still need some support regarding the shower column, which is why I am reaching out to you.
Here’s the situation: The shower element initially offered to me was the HSK RS 500 AquaSwitch with a 30x30cm overhead shower. The element was recommended to me by my plumbing company and it fits well visually into the new bathroom – so my decision was (actually) already made: "I'll take it."
It is important to me that my new shower has a rain effect. Therefore, I researched the HSK system a bit more and found out that it does not draw in air. As I understand it, without air intake, I would not get the rain effect.
To clarify this, I contacted my plumbing specialist. He then also offered me the Hansgrohe Raindance Select E 360 1jet Showerpipe. However, he said that the "rain spray effect is the same as with the HSK."
So my question to the experts: Is the rain effect actually the same/comparable, even though the HSK system does not have air enrichment?
From a practical point of view, the height-adjustable hand shower speaks in favor of the HSK system.
Thank you very much for your support and your comments!
