We have two offers for precast concrete garages. Both with almost identical equipment. The price is also very similar. The biggest difference is the type of roof waterproofing.
Which type of waterproofing would you prefer?
Option 1: Roof waterproofing with polymer bitumen welding membrane PYE G 200 S4, slate-covered
Option 2: Liquid plastic ELAPRO 1k-CRYL LB (Unsaturated polyester resin (UP) / polyacrylate)
With bitumen welding membrane, I fear that there may be errors during welding, which could lead to leaks. However, it apparently has been used for a very long time. With liquid plastic, I can hardly find any experience reports, but it feels less prone to errors in application to me. Unfortunately, I cannot find any information on durability.
