Hello,

how can I best seal the four HT pipes? Unfortunately, normal HT plugs do not fit because the connection was cut off.

Are there other plugs?
Or just put rags in?
My idea would be to use expanding foam. Is there any reason not to do this? It just doesn't look very nice.

Thanks!

Where does it go on the other side, base plate?

The most expensive option is sealing rings like in multi-utility house entries, but then I think everything has to be removed again...

If it's inside/inside, then I would use PU foam like you say. Nice is something else (but better than a rag), from experience you won’t notice it after 2 days.

Segment sealing rings (Doyma SG or something equivalent from Krömer or similar) would be my choice here. Nothing needs to be removed because it is correspondingly split. However, with the chosen type of house entry, one should consider whether this is still state of the art.

Just leave it like that, it will disappear on its own…

No spiders, worms, or rats will come in either.

Why don't any animals come in? They can crawl through the empty conduit, can't they? What is against using expanding foam?

If that happens, you should seriously think about all the technical aspects in the house. Why? Animals getting in = not sealed from the outside = lots of rain and water in the house (besides the little creatures). That is just aesthetics, nothing more.
