How to open the roof shelter at plastic panels?

I'm slowly getting desperate. I want to open the roof soffit because there are various cables there and I want to install spotlights or cameras. I know the general structure, but I don't know how to open the closure. I also really don't want to break anything... Does anyone know if they are clicked or glued at the end?

I am also very interested in an answer to this because I have the same issue.

Just make the first hole where a spot is supposed to go and see if anything can be seen.

I saw it at the neighbor's how they are installed. These are tongue and groove boards that are fixed with clips. Whether the ends are glued cannot be seen in your pictures.
