How to attach the Ikea Komplement Soft Close Stopper to the Pax?

We are desperate. Yesterday we assembled a Pax (0.5m / 1m / 1m / 0.5m) with the Lyngdal sliding doors (2x 1.5 meters). After hours of hard work, the thing is now standing. However, we are unable to attach the Komplement Soft Close stoppers. They are supposed to be attached in the track where the gray holders for the entire track are also installed, but we simply cannot get the feet in. As if they are too big. With a bit more physical effort (force) it first looked good, but ultimately it didn’t work and one foot broke.

You can see in the last picture that the feet cannot snap in and there is a gap between the track and the part itself.
