How should I understand the notary's invoices?

After we received the first notary invoices, the question arises how many more will come. We received 1 invoice per registration of a land charge (for us 2 pieces), plus a 3rd invoice for the purchase itself (the highest in terms of value).

According to calculators, notary costs are expected to be 1.5% of the purchase price. So for us, that would be Euro 2,850. Meanwhile, we are at about Euro 1,600.00. So that’s not everything yet - right?

no, that is probably not everything.
For us, it was also an invoice from the notary and the second invoice came from the land registry office / district court that the notary reports the notarization (= change of ownership) and possibly mortgages and they do like everyone in construction and do nothing for free :-(
For us, the invoice from the land registry office arrived about 2-3 weeks after the one from the notary.

that’s correct, there are several invoices:

From the notary:
- for the purchase contract
- for the registration of the mortgage(s)
- possibly for the registration of a priority notice of conveyance

From the land registry office:
- for the registration of the priority notice of conveyance
- for the registration of the mortgage(s)
- for the deletion of the priority notice of conveyance
- for the transfer of ownership

Overall, 1.5% will probably no longer be sufficient.

I now plan 1.7% of the total costs for notary and court fees. However, the difference will not be very high.
