Good evening everyone,
we are building a single-family house with a mono-pitched roof and an 18° roof pitch, sloping upwards to the back. The standard roof overhang is 30cm. Now we want to have 50cm completely, but we are wondering if that is okay, or if it should only be a bit longer at the front and back? We are quite unsure how and if that looks good. Oh yes, on the left side of our house, a second house is also being built. Directly next to the house wall. A semi-detached house, in other words. But we are building first.
Does anyone have experience with this? What is too much, what is too little?
The house has two full floors, is white with anthracite-colored windows and front door. The roof is either dark red or also anthracite.
