Hello everyone,
we are now (hopefully) in the final phase of the floor plan design, .....except for the fireplace.
It is to be a (closed) gas fireplace that is primarily intended to be a "design element."
Since the house is to be powered by a heat pump and there is no gas connection on the property, a tank is to be buried in the garden.
We have already spoken with 2 fireplace builders who have also studied the current plan in detail and have good solutions.
The problem is, none of them are disclosing the price range.
On the internet, you also often find the statement "price on request."
I understand that during planning one cannot make an exact statement, but a rough estimate should be possible (5000,- - 10,000 or 15,000) (The deductible will be "costed" by the fireplace builder and is not part of the house price.)
The combustion chamber is to be from "Faber" or "Kal-Fire," 90 cm viewable from 3 sides. (This is not meant as advertising, but these companies apparently have the most suitable products for our requirements.)
Maybe someone also knows roughly what a 2,800 l gas tank, including burying, costs.
