Good morning,

as can be seen in the picture, I am currently wondering how far the tiling should go? Has anyone experienced something similar or does anyone know about this? How far does the front door extend inward?

I think there is a reason why the screed layer stopped at the wooden board or was placed like that. Right?

Thank you very much.

For both, the installation level of the future front door would have been interesting. Now the screed layer installer has created facts because you probably didn't define anything else. I assume the wall structure remains monolithic? Then I would orient myself to the level of the windows in the same wall so that the reveals always look roughly the same. The tile then comes as close to the front door as to a wall (i.e., with a small joint, which is usually either sealed with silicone).

I would also say: It depends on where/how the front door is planned, but with us it looked similar. The rest is then filled in by the tiler with screed. Don’t you have underfloor heating?

Wait until the door is [das ist]. If necessary, the screed may also need to be reworked. But that's not a problem at all.

You don’t put any more work into it now if it’s even questionable whether the screed guy laid his material correctly. Install the front door, then finish it nicely.
