Hello,
we are about to completely renovate our basement soon and are currently looking for wallpaper. I keep coming across the term "VLIES." But what exactly is it, or what advantage do these wallpapers have compared to normal embossed paper wallpapers?

Thanks for your answers

Hello Tomcat,

I'll tell you just one thing: Once you've wallpapered with non-woven wallpaper, you'll never want anything else again! :D First of all, they are much more durable and don't tear. You don't need to pre-paste them or get them prepped. Basically, depending on the surface, you could apply the paste directly to the wall, start the roller at the top, and get going – this method is even the manufacturer's recommendation. Additionally, they can be easily peeled off again and you no longer have that annoying tiny bits like with regular wallpaper. :)

Best regards

Sebi

Hi,
my brother had his living room done with those fleece wallpapers, it looks really great. He said that you can peel them off again and that it should work without leaving any residue. But as long as everything is still new, I can't say whether it really works like that. Only when he no longer wants them will it become clear if it really is that easy.
