Hello everyone,
since I am an absolute layman in the field of IT, I ask for your help.
We are currently building a semi-detached house. Because of the underfloor heating, I have planned a CAT7 connection on every floor.
Now I am wondering how I can later provide my house with Wi-Fi and telephony.
The technology arrives in the basement (line from the supplier).
How can I now (using a FritzBox) distribute telephony and Wi-Fi in the house? I thought that on every floor (as needed) I could set up an access point at the respective CAT7 socket. But how does the LAN get there? Is it enough to connect the FritzBox in the basement with the network sockets that end at the CAT7 sockets (and then set up access points)?
Furthermore, I need to know how I can connect a phone (which will stand in the ground floor) to this FritzBox, which is located in the basement. Maybe Wi-Fi telephony?
Sorry for the awkwardness and many thanks for your help!
