Hello,

we are considering buying a house. Location BW near Rastatt. There is no tram connection in the town, but KiKA, primary school, EDEKA, butcher, bakery, and pharmacy. About 3000 inhabitants.

Built in the early 70s; good standard for that time. Now of course old. Living area: approx. 200 m²; plot: 620 m². In the new development area, 1 m² costs about €250. Oil heating. Renovations needed: bathrooms (3), balcony, remove carpet and install new flooring.

What would you (I know few details) pay at most?

That's funny. So the windows, water/sewer, electricity, and roof are all renovated? Based on your information, I would offer something between €1 and €1,500,000 for the house.

You said it

What do you expect? A meaningful discussion? Then leave out the demanded amount and write more about the house, otherwise this thread is a dud.

No, nothing. Otherwise I would have written it.

No price is being asked. It is grandma's house. We are interested but cannot assess the price and do not want to disadvantage her.

So, within the family. Affordable option: look at what is on the market on ImmoScout with similar defects. Expensive option: have an expert come and appraise it.
