Hello everyone,

I have been successfully self-employed for a few years now, and the bank has given the green light for a construction loan this year.

Of course, I will obtain further offers regarding financing in due time ;-)

I would like to build a solid house with a room on the ground floor for an office in Dortmund.

My problem is simply that I don't have time to deeply familiarize myself with the subject.

The bank advisor, for example, says that FA. Beta Eigenheim in Bergkamen really offers turnkey houses.

Are there other developers who offer real complete packages without surprises?

I would be very grateful for tips in any respect.

Best regards
Dennis

Hello,

from my point of view, you shouldn’t even start building a house if you are not willing to invest a lot of time into it. You will have to visit several construction companies and get quotes from them. You then have to align these so that you don’t compare apples to oranges. Then the construction phase itself (and already the planning) will demand a lot of research work and physical effort from you. Whether you really want to afford a complete all-inclusive package (if any company even offers that), I doubt. You will still have to handle official appointments yourself, and that can cost a lot of energy.

I spent almost an hour every evening for the first half year on average in front of the PC, googling like crazy. And so far, we haven’t laid a single stone yet. Your wife might be able to take on a lot, but with many things, both of you are simply needed.

Surprises can await you with all kinds of companies.

I believe most companies offer everything from the key handover to ready to move in.
