Hi Abrissbude

Yes, that should be possible without a jig at those distances

Circulation line in such a construction is probably not energy efficient,... You don't just have to keep 1 line warm, but 3 at once. Normally nowadays one foregoes the "immediate warm comfort" and saves energy for it (of course you need more water because of this).

Thank you for your answers.

I have now tested it on an approximately 6m pipe to the guest WC, and it takes quite a long time for warm water to come out.
Then I could have saved the hot water pipes if I only have cold water anyway
I don’t really find giving up on the "gleich warm Komfort" ideal, especially when I just want to quickly wash my hands, I can’t flush through 3-4 liters of water every time.
Is this really how it’s done nowadays?
Or are there reasonable alternative options?

We did not want to do without the comfort of a circulation pump. The pump is configured in our system to operate according to the schedule of the air-water heat pump. In our case, it runs Monday to Friday between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM in a 5/25 cycle (meaning 5 minutes pumping, 25 minutes waiting...) and then again from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM. On weekends, it runs from 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM. If I shower outside of these times, I know it sometimes takes about 20 seconds before the hot water arrives and I can prepare for that. From my point of view, this is a good compromise, and I account for the few euros in annual costs as quality of life.

Hello again

Besides the length of the pipe, the dimensioning is also crucial. The material plays only a small role. For a supply line to the guest WC with composite pipe 16 x 2 with 7 m, that is just under 0.8 liters. But not to forget is also the supply line from the water heater to the distributor.
