Good day everyone,

I am looking for large-format floor tiles 60x120 in concrete look/gray.
In my search, I also came across the tiles from Hometec Graphit 60x120. (Posting links is forbidden, right?)

Does anyone have experience with the series from Hornbach? Are the tiles any good? The price is quite tempting.. don’t get me wrong, I don’t want cheap-cheap. Only in specialized stores, my selected tiles are around 60-70€ per sqm, here at 35€, and I like these tiles the most..

I would be grateful for experiences or opinions, what would you do?

Thanks

Best regards

Do you want to install yourself? We partly bought our tiles for the whole house from OBI; after purchase, we showed them to the tiler; some models failed, were exchanged, and replaced with tiles from the specialist trade (with about 20% discount in the name of the tiler). The tiles from OBI approved by the tiler were plain white with a slight texture and were reduced to €20/m2, before I think about €35. The ones from the specialist trade were not much more expensive (with the discount) but were consistently approved by the tiler. The unapproved ones from OBI were partly not straight and the edges did not meet the professional’s requirements. According to our experience, you can definitely score bargains there and save a lot compared to the specialist trade, but as a layperson, it is quite difficult to recognize the difference between a good and a bad tile. At least that was our experience. I should also mention that those that failed with the professional were really cheap (reduced to €10, before about €22/m2). There are also tiles in the hardware store that are a bit more expensive and higher quality without you having to spend €70/m2 straight away.
