I have googled a lot.

My mother took out 2 mortgage loans in 2010 and an additional mortgage loan in 2015.

Is it possible to reclaim the processing fees (commitment fees 3.00% of the loan amount)?

Allegedly, this is airtight. However, I am not entirely convinced. Does anyone have experience or knowledge?

Yeah, there is a deadline until the end of 2013. You're basically a few months too late. But who can read...

Hmm...

Provision fee: "The provision fee is a fee charged to customers by telecommunications providers at the beginning of a contractual relationship. It covers all costs associated with the provision of services." Source: Check24.de

Or maybe provision interest?

Processing fees NOT EQUAL to provision interest.

Can you simply reclaim the processing fees on loans like that? I want that too. On what basis is that supposed to work? In other words, how do you argue that? After all, you agreed to these fees when signing the contract. I know this from very old building savings contracts where the fees were refunded if the loan was not used. But this was already provided for in the fine print by the bank.

The basis for this is several judgments by the Federal Court of Justice. If you consult a search engine of your choice, you should find answers.

The TE unfortunately did not inform us which fees he would like to have refunded.
