We have applied for a loan and are now waiting for an approval. I have an income of €2800 and my wife €1300, we have rental income of €550 plus 3x child benefits. Thus, we have an income of almost €5500. My Schufa score is 93.9 and my wife's is 97.5. The house costs €395,000 and has no broker fees, as it is a private sale. The financing is done through Ergo and Hanseatic (Ergo €350,000 and Hanseatic €45,000). We also bring €40,000 in equity. The monthly installment is €2125 and we have an installment loan of €300 per month. What is the likelihood that we will get an approval and when? The application was sent on Tuesday. I am already very nervous…

Hello,

the rate corresponds to approximately 40% of the secure income ([salary & child benefit]). Wait and see, it could become negative. However, Ergo is known for aggressive mortgage financing.

That goes through at Ergo. They do almost everything.

You probably went through an intermediary - they know exactly why they chose Ergo. GD

With us, you would not get a loan for such financing due to far too weak creditworthiness. However, Hanseatic is known for supporting full financings - it costs, and enough customers crash because of it. At least cancel the personal loan - why do you even have it? Schufa Score is already borderline.
