Hi,
I am about to lay carpet on approximately 17-year-old (young) screed.
The floor is very level and I have meticulously removed all slight protrusions (splattered filler and the like).
Now I wanted to start with the carpet (not fully glued) and at the last moment I found a single, lonely small hole in the screed.
It has about 8mm diameter and is about 8mm deep (the screed itself is 6cm thick).
It was superficially rust-brown. After cleaning by scraping, only the edges are slightly brown.
Does it necessarily have to be closed, or can I simply lay the carpet over it?
Thank you very much for any help!
