I have a HJUVIK mixer tap that – despite intensive care – has still developed some limescale. Since, according to Ikea’s product description, descaling cleaners should not be used, how is one supposed to get rid of the limescale? Does anyone have experience with this? I’m bringing it up because I’m currently moving and changing my kitchen a bit (new fronts on the cabinets, new layout, new sink, new worktop,...) For this purpose, I also removed the Hjuvik, and now that I can look at it from all sides, the small limescale marks are a bit more noticeable and that bothers me. I’m grateful for tips on cleaning and descaling the Hjuvik that don’t leave any changes on the material.

What about vinegar? That should work too, but test carefully first. I take no responsibility for success.
