Hello everyone,
in our single-family house, the heating system was installed at the end of November 2023. It is an air-to-water heat pump as a split unit. The heating itself is already running. The outdoor unit will be installed later. Meanwhile, other interior trades such as flooring and tiling are being carried out. For this, the heating needs to run. When the split unit outside is not connected, the heating runs entirely on the electric heating element and thus purely electrically. We currently have a daily consumption of about 70 kWh. It is currently February.
At the first appointment, it turned out that the electrician had laid a wrong connection cable to the outside. Unfortunately, the heating installation company had to leave again. A follow-up appointment is unfortunately not yet in sight.
Because of the electrician’s mistake, we are now consuming more electricity. Mistakes happen. But it is always a question of how you deal with them.
Has anyone of you had similar experiences? How did you handle it?
