I am a bit surprised that the seller spoke of "move-in in one year," or was that already with preferred production? When we recently spoke with Fingerhaus, the talk was of a construction start(!) around February 2019 if signed now. After that, the interior construction takes about another 4 months

That may be a bit much, others might be faster, but in principle sellers seem to "confuse" installation and move-in dates before signing quite often. Not least so that homebuilders continue to confuse "prefabricated house" with "fast-build house."

Oh, I'm really sorry for you. But at least Fingerhaus is already offering to bring you forward. As far as I know, Fingerhaus now has a lead time of 15 - 17 months. So you have already gained something here
