At what height have you installed your sanitary fixtures? In particular, washbasin and toilet bowl. Possibly also [Spiegelschrank]. And how tall are the people who use them?

Our washbasin is currently mounted at 85cm and I find this rather too low at about 176cm body height.

Would be interesting to me as well. We will also soon install our washbasins and I think a height of 90 cm would certainly be better for tall people? (I'm 1.85m) You don't usually make them any higher, do you?

We have a washbasin in the bathroom with an upper edge at 92 cm. This works well for me (>1.90) and my wife (<1.70). Lower would not bother my wife, but it would bother me.

We have installed the toilet with an upper edge of the ceramic at 45 cm, so 5 cm higher than the guidelines recommend. This is very comfortable, especially for smaller and above all older people. The only disadvantages are for small children, but they also have to use a stool at the "standard"-height toilets at the beginning.

90 cm is a commonly used standard height in public buildings.

In self-construction, 50% of the height of the smallest regular user (if fully grown) is a good formula.

For the toilet, however, we have "shortened" the often assumed 40 to 42 cm seat height to 38 cm as this corresponds better to the anatomy of the human intestine --> Google "squatty potty".

Our sink has 95cm at the front edge - perfect for us (1.81 & 1.98).
