Hello everyone,

My first question in this forum as I bought an apartment 2 weeks ago and it includes a roof section which I want to convert. There are a few open questions and I hope you can help me.

The room I want to convert has about 28 sqm. On one side there is a fully insulated sloping roof which at the end contains 2 roof windows. Currently, there is no floor and no heating. In winter it will probably get quite cold up there. Does anyone have experience with electric underfloor heating for heating? Is it worth the money to try to install a radiator up there? Below this room is a bedroom from which it might be possible to create grooves upwards to run the water pipes. Does anyone have a cost estimate? (Installation of radiator by a professional since it is a multi-unit building) I would do all preparatory and finishing work myself.

Thank you very much for your help!

Best regards
