Good morning,

we have purchased new radiators type DK22 Universal for the renovation. Unfortunately, I paid attention to the size but NOT to the hub distance. The old ones have 50cm, the new ones 54cm.

To avoid having to redo all the pipes, I looked for a connector piece that can bridge this difference and found a radiator offset piece, S-connection, 1/2'' female to male, 40mm axis distance. That would probably fit. I just don’t know WHICH connection on the radiator it goes to.

Top or bottom????

Please enlighten me so I can attach the brackets correctly.

Have a nice Sunday to you all.

Matt

Hello

The spacer should be mounted at the bottom.
When mounting on the supply line offset downwards, I would possibly collect air that can only escape with difficulty.

That helps. Thanks. Only the lower connection on the new radiator locked. How do I get the offset piece on there? It has an external thread as a connection.

Hello again

Unscrew the plug from the HK, hook the offset piece and screw it in.
Do the same with a valve extension in the supply line to get back to the same length.
Then screw in the fittings of the thermostat valve and return.
