Heat pump manager from Dimplex - Some questions about it

Hello everyone,

I have a question regarding the aforementioned device (in connection with an air-water heat pump) (building purchased this year, built in 2011).

On the "homepage" of the control, it is possible to shift the heating curve warmer/colder using the arrow up/down (Dimplex calls it "bar display") (1°C per step). Additionally, there is the endpoint (at -20°) for the return flow target temperature in the menu. According to my previous understanding, I now shift the base point of the curve using this setting (in the attached picture towards "warmer"/"colder"), but the endpoint should actually remain fixed (since it is explicitly set to e.g. 33°C in the menu).

However, according to the installer manual (manufacturer's documentation, available on the website), it always talks about shifting the "entire heating curve in parallel." If that were the case - meaning the base point, endpoint (-20°), and "everything in between" were shifted - shouldn't the explicitly set endpoint (see above 33°) also change (see attached picture)?

That is not the case. No matter what happens in the heating curve shift, the value for the endpoint remains at the set 33°C.

Or, put much much much more simply: can I read somewhere in the WPM the parameters currently used for control
- base point (e.g., 18°C / 18°C)
- endpoint at -20°C?

A fool and it's Tool.... or something like that.

Thanks in advance to all willing helpers!

Steph

Me again,

I am of course also very grateful for any indirect tips!

Best regards,

I do not have a Dimplex manager, but in theory, if you raise the heating curve in parallel (+), it should have a higher calculated flow temperature at the same outside temperature, but never higher than the entered max. 33°C flow temperature. Just play around with the parallel shift in small steps and read off the calculated flow temperature.
