I would like to know from you what you think of my (self-drawn floor plans). The house is to be built with 24 cm bricks and 16 cm WVDS. A central ventilation control system with heat recovery is to be installed, a geothermal heat pump, and triple glazing. Underfloor heating is to be installed in all rooms. Oh yes, it is to be a shed roof house. Thank you very much in advance for your tips and suggestions....

Hello,

I don’t find it bad, you just have to find an architect who implements it exactly like that for you. Most architects explain that it won’t work like that, but I think the only important thing is that the load-bearing walls are aligned. Otherwise, construction costs get expensive. Also, I wonder why you don’t work with a T 11 brick and save yourself the whole thing with the WVDS. With the application of insulation, you can never drill into the facade or only fix your outdoor lamp etc. with special screws and dowels. Also, with T 11 and triple glazing including your air-water heat pump or geothermal energy combined with (from $m²) solar, you also reach Kfw 70 - and that is subsidized. Is a shed roof allowed with you???? Here you get real problems with that. In most municipalities, the so-called "quiet roof landscape" is prescribed. Exceptions for this hardly exist - actually almost never. Oh yes - a central ventilation system is okay for houses with max. 6 x 12 meters, otherwise a decentralized one would be better. With today’s construction methods, ventilation is quite important if you don’t want to get mold over the years. As soon as you leave the house alone for a longer time, it can happen without a ventilation system.

Hello,

a few points that come to mind spontaneously:
1). I don't understand the small chamber in the kitchen.
2). WC on the ground floor too small, WC in the attic too small and why in a separate room?
3). Hallway on the ground floor too narrow and long
4). Entrance to child 1 is somehow an odd wall
5). What about elevations? They should be taken into account when designing the floor plan.
6). Is it really drawn to scale?

I think it is still a little too early to determine the right building materials and heating system ;)

.....Room layout, function, access etc. don't matter?

Regards
