Grundtal IKEA spotlight installed, does not work

Today I installed spotlights in my kitchen, everything nicely mounted and wired, and then I flip the switch and: nothing
no light

I've tried everything possible now and just have no idea what I'm doing wrong.
I changed the socket, also tried wiring only one of the three lamps
but nothing happens.
Did I overlook something essential?

Hm,

that sounds like the transformer is broken. Unfortunately. So off to Ikea and exchange it.
