Ground-source heat pump + electronic instantaneous water heater

this system is offered in a new development area of a developer in our region. Heating and preheating of the water to ~40 degrees is done via central brine heat pump stations. The further temperature increase of the water is carried out via decentralized electronic instantaneous water heaters in the individual houses. My initial internet research says this system seems to be quite efficient because the brine heat pumps can operate in the efficient range and the remaining increase takes place decentrally.

Is there any experience with such a system here?

No, but in our storage tank it is only heated to 48 degrees (and then tapped off via plate heat exchanger). I do not believe there is a large saving potential at 40 degrees + instantaneous water heater.
