Green roof

Hello!

We want to build a terrace on our garage roof and are now considering possible floor coverings. Gravel seems too impractical for us (ice in winter) and tiles have become permeable at acquaintances' places (water damage), wooden flooring will probably be very labor-intensive due to rapid weathering...? Now we have heard about [Dachbegrünungen] and would be very happy to receive feedback!

I can only tell you that wooden planks are not that impractical... We have them all over the garden and they barely weather at all... Maybe every few years you have to replace a plank, but that’s about it:) And I think they look quite nice, but above all also very well-kept....

So maybe reconsider your decision?:D
