Dear knowledgeable ones,

for various reasons, I have been considering acquiring some grassland for quite some time. Not at all with the intention or hope of ever turning it into building land. Nevertheless, I wonder whether there are obligations, rights, and duties that come with the acquisition of grassland. And which options are somewhat unregulated. For example, what about orchard plantations or fixed or movable shelters such as construction trailers or canopies? There is a bit of hope that one can, within legal boundaries, also rudimentarily use grassland as garden land. It concerns BB/Meck-Pomm. Despite research, I was unable to really find anything on the subject.

I am not really "knowledgeable" in these matters, but I once considered leasing a part of a meadow behind our house. I was told that this is basically possible, but not just "for fun" to have more "land". Meaning, the area must also be used for agricultural purposes. Any constructions must be removable, so preferably movable. All of this with the motto: where there is no plaintiff, there is no judge ...

That probably depends on the land use plan?
Otherwise, I don't see any problem. Somehow there is always an owner for unused fallow land/ground/meadow.
We have many such corners and areas here.

I would put up a "No Trespassing" sign because of liability.
If there are trees, liability insurance or something for danger in case of storm and so on.

The land use plan behind our house probably allows that. No idea if that varies regionally.

At least regarding any possible liability, such a sign is just as useless as the ones landlords put up at the cloakroom. A property owner's liability insurance is practically available for next to nothing here and is essential.

Look here. Still, such a sign is required where we are. The "parents are liable for their children" is also asked for when mischief has occurred (spilled and injured children, etc.)
