Based on our experience, I can warmly recommend a brine-water heat pump. However, it depends on whether drilling for geothermal energy is allowed at your place (you can find this out from the canton). We also decided on a BW heat pump. At first, air-water was an option, but the cost breakdown showed that BW will definitely pay off. Additionally, BW requires less space and makes no noise, which I also consider advantages. If you need more info, I can gladly provide some.

Hello Polar Bear With a heat pump you are definitely on the right PATH FOR THE FUTURE. With geothermal energy use in combination with a heat pump you can heat in winter and cool slightly in summer (in combination with a residential ventilation system). And if summer here gets a little warmer every year, you almost have an air conditioner. Greetings from the Kohlenschaufler
