Hello everyone,
I am currently deeply immersed in my master’s thesis, in which I am dealing, among other things, with the phenomenon of the "uninformed builders." I believe that all of you dear members have already gathered more than 80% of all the information that builders collect by joining this forum.
Nevertheless, there are certainly some who only decided to improve their own experience in house construction after encountering the first problems.
I would be happy if you find the time to briefly answer one or more of the following questions.
• Which sources of information were used before deciding to build a house?
• Were professional prior knowledge present before the start of construction?
• Were there moments when you felt poorly advised or inadequately informed during the construction phase?
• In which topics would you wish for a neutral source of information?
• Are there problems in not being "professionally on an equal footing" with the executing companies as a builder?
• Were there problems during the construction phase that were described afterward with "If I had known that before"? (If yes, which)
• What 3 pieces of advice would you give to prospective builders?
Thank you very, very much!
Best regards
