Hi,

attached is an offer from the local newspaper from a local company. Since I cannot assess the prices for heating at all, I would like to ask you whether this is generally a good offer or if it is available like this everywhere. Just as an assessment. Unfair behavior and overpriced surcharges are not to be expected. The company has a good reputation in the small town.

Hello,

For the boiler alone and the installation work, this is a normal rate for this brand.

Before you decide to buy, you should know exactly what capacity is required for your new building through an MEP planner - they can also explain something to you about the usefulness of gas and solar. The days when the heating installer raised a thumb to estimate are long gone ;)

Kind regards

Sure, that was just an inquiry to get a feel for the prices. Thank you. It is about an existing house from 1978, which is currently running with the oil heating system from the year it was built.

Hello,

Then the offer won't be of much use to you; when renovating, you definitely shouldn't work on your own, because you simply lack too much knowledge. Find a TGA planner and discuss your conversion with him; nowadays there are good offers for air-to-water heat pumps for older properties – then you are not only free from fossil fuels. Many builders save in the wrong place and are surprised when their saving strategy turns out to be expensive in the end. BECAUSE: only with precise dimensioning does it not turn into a money pit, as €uro so aptly puts it ;)

Kind regards

You are too sensitive! ;)

I already wrote "Sure...". You have to ease into the topic.

Hello,

If this is the biggest of my character flaws, I can live with it :D

I've been doing this job long enough not to know how expensive amateurish price shows always are ;)

Good luck
