Hello everyone,

my wife and I have bought a single-family house where there is a garden shed of about 20m2 on the property. It has an old corrugated roof from the 60s (containing asbestos). Now I want to remove the roof there and put a new roof covering on (gable-shaped).
What would be, in your opinion, the most cost-effective alternative for a new roof on the garden shed? I am also considering installing a rainwater treatment tank.

I would really appreciate your opinion!

Best regards.

You'd best go to a hardware store; you'll find everything you need there. Options would include bitumen shingles if you first clad the roof, but you can also simply use inexpensive roofing felt, which is absolutely sufficient for a garden shed. Or bitumen corrugated sheets, which you can nail directly onto the rafters. The cheapest will be the roofing felt.

Asbestos?
You have to have a company anyway for removal and disposal.
I would clarify beforehand how the rest of the little house is doing, so that there isn't anything else inside.
