Hello,

we have a garden gate in our fence.
We want the garden gate to always be openable from the inside and the knob on the outside should be fixed so that the door cannot be opened.

The garden gate will not be locked, only closed, and will get an e opener for ekey fingerprint.

I have a question for you (probably easy for most to answer) but unfortunately I am too stupid for it.

We have a standard lock with handles on both sides that can be pressed with an 8mm square spindle.

We want a knob on the outside that cannot be turned and inside either the handle or a turnable knob (we don’t mind inside).

How can we achieve that the knob outside cannot open the door?
What do we need to consider and buy?

Thank you very much for your help

Our garden gate came with a regular door fitting with two handles. Instead, just buy a door fitting with a handle and a knob and replace it. edit: If you’re not exactly sure what you need, try removing the handles and see what you need to change. The system isn’t really complicated. You can easily understand it if you take a close look.

I still can't get any further with that

We have 2 screws at the top and bottom + square spindle of the handle and the lock

How do I find the right fitting?
Often only find fittings with 3 screws

We have a fixed knob inside and outside and only the electric door latch, everyone who wants to come in has to ring the bell. Someone (DHL driver) is constantly trying to reach inside and open the door. There is a button inside to open it.

that would also be a solution but here you can't reach through the gate, so we can do it with the handle

Can you possibly tell me how we can do it, ideally

inside handle that opens the gate when pressed
outside knob fixed so the door cannot be opened.

Unscrew the cover on the outside and screw on a new one with a fixed knob. Search online, or just post a photo. We're playing a game of telephone here. One person thinks something, writes it down, the other reads and also thinks something. What is the probability that we think the same thing, just joking.
