Hello everyone, we had a front door installed that in my opinion has a door leaf that is too short. When closed, the gap on the outside is 3 cm and on the inside 2.5 cm. The company doesn't really care and says that this is correct. Since we are absolutely not experts, we hope for helpful answers that we can use to argue. Thank you in advance

Phew, that already looks worrying. I assume nothing else will be placed on the concrete step, or will it? The question is where the top edge of the finished floor is or should be.

In this condition, neither the floor sealing has any function, nor is airtightness, etc., established.

In other words, everything from outside is invited. Water, ants, burglars.

Can you see through it? Or is it somehow a bowl for a pedestal?

Hello, thank you for the answers. It was not planned to raise the concrete step or build a platform. You cannot see through, but you can half insert your fingers until you hit something. What I also noticed is that when the door is half open, the middle of the door threshold has a distance of only about 0.7 cm to the door leaf. So if the door leaf is longer, the door would probably rub? I hope you understand what I mean.

Doesn't look right to me. However, I can't tell exactly what is wrong with it.
