Fryebo Lamp

I bought a Fryebo lamp because I liked the design so much. I can't quite make sense of the user manual: can I operate it with batteries or on mains power or ??? - Can someone help me????

I was still able to read that - what does that mean for practical use :confused: :confused: ?

Is it easiest if I just connect the lamp to the mains??? - A plug is available! Or do I have to remove the batteries then? Or do I keep it permanently connected to the mains and could light it briefly (3 hours) without mains power?

Who has practical experience :confused: :confused: :confused: ???
