Morning, I need your advice.

We are building a reactively wide bungalow (23.3 m) and I want to have a nice large front door in the middle. The opening for the front door including side panels is 2.52 m wide and 2.30 cm high.

Now I wanted to ask what ratio of front door to side panel you would use?

Feel free to also post a wider door with 2 side panels and include the dimensions.

I am thinking of making the side panels 67 cm wide because on the right and left of the front door there are bathrooms which have a 67 cm wide window facing the front door. However, the front door should stand out, not the side panels.

Thank you

Well, then you can do it roughly like this, that fits. I would take the front door width as "110" (including its frame), then each side panel would be 69.5 cm (based on being built as planned and overall 3 cm smaller than the raw construction measurement). Hopefully, you don't seriously need photos now to believe that the difference between 67 and 69.5 cm is not visible ;-)
