Good evening everyone, We are the builders of a single-family house, which will be completed in October 2019. Today we were confronted with a negative surprise and would be very happy about your opinions. We were at the Brömse exhibition for the sample selection and had chosen our windows and front door there. We liked a front door at the exhibition and ultimately took this front door (the model is quite expensive, well, but we thought at least then you know exactly what you are getting). This door was foiled in walnut color on the inside and outside. Yesterday the carpenter finally came and installed the windows and front doors for us and the surprise: the front door is only foiled in walnut color on the outside, the inside is white. But we want exactly the door that was in the exhibition, FOILED ON BOTH SIDES. Attached is the offer from the carpenter. Can you make out that we only want foiling on the outside? It was important to us that we get exactly the door that is in the exhibition, and if it should be otherwise, shouldn’t the seller at least give us a hint??? Thanks for your opinion.

Front door panel as in [Austellung]. If I am not mistaken, that is the decisive sentence. That applies to me from both sides. Already spoken with the company? I'm surprised that the door is already being installed at your place. There are still so many trades to come. Scratches and dents are inevitable.

Can't they be followed up on? Like in the exhibition, clear to me. The only annoying thing is the model number. What does the catalog say about it?

What does the seller say? There is only a problem if you do not get the right door. Until then, everything is just annoying.

That can be clarified. Where is the problem?

Simply make a complaint with the supplier.

The tender text says nothing about the wrapping, only the "as in exhibition" could refer to it.

And the door should be taken out again anyway, whether the foil is correct or not. It belongs in at the very end.
Unless you are working with [GU] or [Bauträger] and have no own trades on the construction site - then it is clear who is liable for damages.
